Each year, we are proud to come together as a team to support a cause that makes a meaningful difference. For 2026, Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, was chosen as InterGo’s Charity of the Year.

Throughout the year, colleagues from across the Group have been getting involved in a variety of fundraising activities to raise money and awareness for Sands. From physical challenges to bake sales, sweepstakes and raffles, it has been fantastic to see everyone supporting the cause in different ways.

Taking on the Gatwick Half Marathon

One of our biggest fundraising achievements so far took place in May with the Gatwick Half Marathon. With three of our amazing team members, taking on 13.1 miles was a brilliant challenge and, thanks to the generosity of everyone who supported and donated, an incredible £630 was raised for Sands.

It was a fantastic way to support our Charity of the Year and a great achievement for everyone involved. A huge thank you goes to those who took part, donated and helped support the fundraising effort.

Baking for a good cause

Also in May, we held an Office Bake Sale, bringing colleagues together over plenty of homemade treats while raising money for Sands.

From those who got baking to everyone who purchased something or made a donation, the support from across the team helped make the event a success and provided another enjoyable way to contribute to our fundraising efforts.

A little friendly competition

With football fever taking over in June, we held a World Cup Sweepstake across the Group. The money collected was split between the winning prize and our Sands fundraising, allowing colleagues to enjoy some friendly competition while also supporting an important cause.

It was another simple but effective way of bringing everyone together and keeping our Charity of the Year fundraising going throughout the summer.

Trying our luck with the InterGo Group Raffle

In August, we continued our fundraising with the InterGo Group Raffle, giving colleagues the chance to get involved by selecting an envelope and making a donation, with a selection of prizes up for grabs.

The raffle provided another opportunity for colleagues across the business to support Sands and added to the fantastic variety of fundraising activities we have taken part in throughout the year.

There’s still more to come

Our fundraising for Sands isn’t finished yet. We still have more events and activities planned for the remainder of 2026, giving everyone across InterGo further opportunities to get involved, have some fun and support the charity.

Whether you’ve taken part in an event, donated, baked, entered a sweepstake or raffle, or helped organise an activity behind the scenes, a huge thank you for getting involved.

We’ll be updating this blog towards the end of the year with our remaining activities and our final fundraising total, giving us the opportunity to look back at everything we’ve achieved together for Sands throughout 2026.
